Vintage 1950s/1960s Orange and Black U.S. Bakelite Scales

Absolutely spectacular vintage American Bakelite with an incredible orange and black tiger stripe pattern!

Manufactured in Massachusetts during the late 1950s to early 1960s, this beautiful material features wild, swirling patterns of vibrant orange and deep black.  The figuring runs all the way through the material, revealing even more of that gorgeous pattern as it is shaped and contoured!

Nothing takes a polish quite like quality vintage Bakelite!  The scales pictured haven't even been buffed, just sanded to a high grit, and look at that shine!  This stuff is NICE!

These scales will ship flat on one side and curved on the other to preserve their beautiful original patina. Once flattened or shaped on the opposite side, you will be left with scales measuring a minimum of .12" thick.

Unlike most of the other Bakelite we offer, these are sold as matched scale sets rather than individual slabs.
