Thuya Burl Blocks

Thuya is a beautiful, stable, oily wood found primarily in Morocco.  It can exhibit a wide range of color from nearly black, to golden-brown.  Thuya burl is shows a lot of chatoyance, and typically features many small "eyes". 

While Thuya burl is dense, it is some what brittle.

Fragrant!  Smells very similar to cedar!
