Collection: Fatcarbon Glass

Epoxy reinforced glass made by the skilled professionals at Fatcarbon!

What Makes It Special?
• Quasi-isotropic mechanical behavior in-plane
• High strength-to-weight and stiffness-to-weight ratio
• Excellent resistance to impact, fatigue, and wear
• Heat-resistant epoxy matrix (up to 98 °C)
• Chemically stable and dimensionally consistent

The random fibers ensures balanced mechanical properties in all in-plane directions, while the epoxy matrix provides excellent dimensional stability, surface hardness, and chemical resistance.  A glass transition temperature of 98 °C makes ideal for using it on product that is exposed to heat.

Perfect for engineering, prototyping, industrial design, watch components, knife handles, jewelry, and decorative panels – anywhere that performance and visual appeal are equally important.

Processing:
Easily machined with carbide tools, shaped on a belt sander, and polished to a high-gloss finish on a buffing wheel.
