Collection: Amboyna Burl Blocks

Amboyna burl comes from the Pterocarpus species, typically Pterocarpis Indicus, but sometimes Pterocarpus Macrocarpus as well as a few other species are sold under the Amboyna name.

All of our Amboyna burl comes from Pterocarpus Inducus, which is the same species Narra comes from.

Absolutely beautiful wood that can exhibit a broad range of colors...  But most typically yellow to red, with red traditionally being the most sought after.
