This is very pretty material that has been drying/curing for several years. The bone is very stable and contains no fillers.
Buffalo bone can be worked natural, scrimshawed, dyed, or jigged and dyed.
Scales measure 3.25" x 1" with some variation in thickness (most being between .16" - .18") and are sold in sets of two.
All of these SPECTACULAR knives were created by the incredibly talented Jason Ritchie of Ritchie Handmade Knives. Jigging and dying were also performed by Jason.
