Richlite Scales - Green Mountain

Richlite paper phenolic scales.

This is it!  This is the long discontinued Green Mountain Richlite recipe!  Extremely beautiful, extremely hard to find, extremely in demand!  We have been on the hunt for this for quite some time!

Richlite is a paper composite very similar to paper Micarta.  It is made from 100% post-consumer recycled paper and cardboard mixed with phenolic resin.  Richlite is extremely durable material, offering great impact, flex, and scratch resistance.  It is a very dense material, but still easily machinable.

Our favorite aspect of Richlite is that is continues to age and patina with time because it is made with a phenolic resin.  Richlite only looks more and more beautiful as time goes by.

We have tried several paper phenolic products over the course of our testing and have found Richlite to behave most similarly to vintage paper Micarta.  This particular Richlite recipe is extremely dense and hard.

Scales come in multiple thicknesses and are sold in sets of two.
