Black Diamond is a rich velvety black.  This is easily the most popular Richlite color.  If you want a true, deep black that polishes like a dream, you've found the right stuff!

Richlite is a paper composite very similar to paper Micarta.  It is made from 100% post-consumer recycled paper and cardboard mixed with phenolic resin.  Richlite is extremely durable material, offering great impact, flex, and scratch resistance.  It is a very dense material, but still easily machinable.

Our favorite aspect of Richlite is that is continues to age and patina with time because it is made with a phenolic resin.  Richlite only looks more and more beautiful as time goes by.

We have tried several paper phenolic products over the course of our testing and have found Richlite to behave most similarly to vintage paper Micarta.

Scales measure 5" x 1.5" x .25" and are sold in sets of two.
