Brazilian Kingwood (Dalbergia Cearensis) is a beautiful, true rosewood that is native to Brazil. Very similar to Camatillo (also known as Mexican Kingwood), but tends to be a bit more stable, and a bit more rare. Brazilian kingwood can exhibit a wide range of spectacular colors.

These particular scales feature a nice purple color and a strong chatoyance that gives the scales a holographic look when finished!
As with all rosewoods, no stabilization required.
